Vivekananda Nursing Institute situated at Faridpur, Contai, is started in the year 2022 with B.Sc Nursing and GNM programmes, This college is approved by Government of West Bengal, West Bengal Nursing Council, The West Bengal University of Health Sciences and Recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Vivekananda Nursing Institute is a constituent unit of Vivekanada Loksiksha Niketan (Non-Governmental Organization), Contai, Purba Medinipur. The curriculum has been planned to provide in depth knowledge to enable the graduates to function effectively in various nursing situations, also prepare to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in clinical/public health setting.
