Every student of Career College and School of Nursing is expected to develop a sense of responsibility, self discipline, punctuality, sense of belongingness to the College, ensure active participation in the Curricular and curricular activities, make optimum use of the learning resources offered by the College.
Every student is expected to give full respect in his/her action, deed and behaviour to the teaching faculties, non- teaching staff and the other authorities of the College. If any student is charged of misconduct/misbehaviour with other fellow students, girls, teaching or non-teaching staff., etc. the matter will be reported to the Disciplinary Committee and on its recommendations any warning, punishment, economic punishment, expulsion, suspension, rustication etc. will have to be acceptable to the student and his/her parents/guardian.
Every student is expected to develop the habit to reading various Notice Boards provided in the campus and be aware of all the information. For the convenience of students some information are uploaded on the college websites www.careernursing.org. Any information displayed on any Notice Board and/or websites will be deemed to have been brought to the notice of each and every student.
The entire college campus is declared is a Ragging Free Zone. The college Management takes strict action against the students involved in Ragging. Every student is expected not to indulge in destructive activity such as Strike, Demonstration and Dharna etc
In case of any complaint/grievance the student can approach the Grievance Redressed Cell. For the convenience of the students, Complaint cum Suggestion Boxes have been kept at various places in the college campus. The students may use these boxes to register their complaints/suggestions. The decision of the Principal will be final and binding.
If a student wishes to remain absent continuously for more then 6 days, he/she has to make an application signed by his/her parents to head of the Department and take the prior approval, otherwise appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. The Examination form of the student will not be forwarded to the University in case if case if the total attendance of the student is below 100%. A candidate must have minimum of 80% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in each practical area.
The students are strictly advised not to use mobile in classroom, labs, office, corridors & Clinical. They should keep mobiles in switched of mode, not even on vibrator in the aforementioned areas. In case of breach of this condition the MOBILE PHONE will be confiscated by College staff which will be returned only after the student pays a fine of Rs. 500/- for the first time. If second time the same student is found breaching this condition in the campus, his/her mobile phone will be confiscated and will not be returned in future.
The entry of the students in the College Campus is authorized only during the period of study/classes/Practicalas per the schedule and with valid Identity Card and uniform.
For all other time the entry of the students in the College Campus even with valid Identity Card and uniform will be considered unauthorized.
The students are strictly prohibited to smoke, to drink alcohol, to spit in the campus or to get involve in any illegal/unethical practices including writing dirty things on the wall, board, etc. An appropriate action will be taken against the defaulters.
In case the student damage/destroy any college property in terms of Camera, Black Board, Switch Board, Fans (College Furniture). He/She will be imposed double the fine of repair/replacement of the damaged item and in extreme cases he / she may be expelled from the college.

Ragging
Ragging in any form is a punishable offence and committing this act of indiscipline shall result in instant cancellation of the concerned student’s admission to the course or into his/her rustication. It must be noted that the institute considers ragging a cognisable offence and will not hesitate to take strong action against the offenders. Here are the extracts from the UGC’s Committee Report.
Guidelines given by the University Grants Commission to Curb the Menace of Ragging in Universities/Educational Institutions.
The word “Ragging” means the act of teasing, taunting, playing a practical joke upon someone or holding comicparades and other activities during certain period of a college term to raise money for charity.
Forms of ragging: Ragging is found to take the following forms (the list is only indicative and not exhaustive)
- Crisp Orders
- To address seniors as ‘Sir’
- To perform mass drills;
- To copy class notes for the seniors;
- To serve various errands;
- To do menial jobs for the seniors;
- To ask/answer vulgar questions;
- To look at pornographic pictures to shook the freshers out of their innocence;
- To force to drink alcohol, scalding tea, etc.
- To force to do acts with sexual overtones, including homosexual acts;
- To force to do acts which can lead to physical injury/mental torture or death;
- To strip, kiss, etc;
- To do other obscenities
Punishment :-
- Cancellation of admission
- Suspension from attending classes.
- Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits.
- Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process.
- Withholding results.

- While the first 10 types of punishment can be awarded by the appropriate authority of the institution itself, the last punishment can be awarded only by a court of law.
